The Farmer’s Hat
Our journey to find the perfect logo for the agricentric.org platform has been both thoughtful and inspiring. As a platform that focuses on sales, education, and people development within the wider agricultural sector, we sought symbols that would embody a strong connection to people, farmers, and a customer-centric mindset. We experimented with various farm-related symbols such as shovels, earth, plants, grains and even explored the idea of circles and arrows to represent unity and community.
Ultimately, we landed on the farmer’s hat as the ideal symbol. In our eyes, it perfectly encapsulates the farmer-centric and customer-focused nature of our platform. The hat symbolises people, not technology, emphasising the human aspect at the heart of agriculture. It acknowledges that farmers and agribusiness leaders can be men or women, and indeed while processing, technology and trading is still quite male domains, most farmers around the world are women.
The farmer’s hat also resonates beyond the field. It speaks to the sales managers, territory managers, sales reps, technical experts, and everyone involved in food and agribusiness. It’s a symbol of leadership, versatility, and the multiple roles these individuals juggle. The farmer’s hat is universally understood, reminding us all of the core values we stand for—hard work, connection, and dedication to the people who feed the world.

For a people centric organisation the hat also symbolises career opportunities and responsibility. Sales professional, entrepreneur, leader, farmer – which hat are you putting on?
